How should I eat?

This is the question that has been running through my mind for years. How should I eat, what should I eat, should I count calories, did I eat to much, will this make me fat....? And tons of other questions.
STOP! This is the thinking that leads to eating disorders. Believe me, I used to have one.
Eating isn't as hard as we make it out to be, and as the media represents it.

Pancakes finally worked!

Every time I have tried to make pancakes, they have NEVER worked. Like seriously, every single time they would break and look really weird. Someone thought I was making an omelet T-T But yesterday I remembered way of gray's recipe for pancakes, and thought I would try a mix of all the pancake recipes I have seen into one. But not as crazy as it sounds, I just mean the tactics, and such.

Way of Gray 4 ever!

I love Way of Gray!!! (Aka Sophie Gray) She is so awesome! I bought her ebook a while ago with 10 workouts in it that are only about 15-30 mins long. And I absolutely love it! They whip my butt, and I am sore for days after them! I can definitely see improvements (when I actually stick with them  T-T I have been so lazy lately! Especially when I caught the flu...)

CEC: Day 18

Already at day 18 of the clean eating challenge, and I still haven't had any cereal! I have been doing pretty good with my eating, and I haven't had anything unhealthy, or that would not be counted towards the CEC. Im proud of myself for making it this far ^ ^
But I thought about it, once I finish the 100 days, I will still be eating the same afterwards, so does it really matter if I count 100 days when I am just going to continue after? Well, I guess I will just count it anyways, but I will n...

CEC: Day 4

Today is day 4 of the CEC (clean eating challenge)! I cannot believe I haven't eating cereal for 4 days O.O thats a record! 
Before the CEC I was eating cereal, on average, twice a day! Now I haven't even touched it since that morning on the first day (so I basically started in the afternoon). I feel pretty proud of myself for that ^ ^ even small achievements are still success in your journey, so never give up!

100 day clean eating challenge!

Hey guys!
My buddy Skye and I have been having issues with our diets lately (not literal diets, just what we have been eating), so we decided to do the 100 day clean eating challenge!

Basically what it is, is eating food with no more than 5 clean ingredients, exercising regularly, having around 6 mini meals a day (whatever works for you), and not counting calories. Just eat small and healthy meals. That doesn't mean pig out since you aren't counting calories, but just eating clean in general!

Kashi is bad?

This truly broke my heart when I found these posts on sites about Kashi products claiming they are "poison".
I fell in love with Kashi cereal, and it has to be one of my weaknesses, expecially for the high protein "go lean" cereals. But I came across a few sites exposing what Kashi truly is "just another Kellogg's pesticide filled garbage product" O.o

Ever heard of "If it fits your macros"? Well thats what I want to talk about today.

I recently learnt about IIFYM, and I must say I had a very rough start!

On I entered my age, weight, height, gender, and body fat into a calculator to calculate my macros. I used them as my starting point, and tracked it on myfitnesspal. 
Since Im not really used to tracking my macros, it was pretty confusing at first, but it is starting to get easier.

Hey guys,
I wanted to make this post for teens/people struggling with acne. It talks about how I got rid of my acne through a healthy balanced diet, and working out! 

Not to long ago I had really bad acne. It was so bad that my brother and dad would argue with me that it was a skin disorder! I tried everything to get rid of it, but nothing would work, and eventually I just wanted to give up.

Oatmeal obsession!

Hey everyone!

Besides my addiction to sushi, another thing I am in LOVE with is oatmeal! I could eat oatmeal all day everyday! Its just sooo good, and there are so many different things you can make with oats! 
My favourite way to make oatmeal is cook 1 cup oats in 2 cups water, add 2 egg whites, 1/2 mashed banana, about 1/4 cup frozen blueberries once water is almost all evaporated, and mix until desired consistency. I make that almost every morning, it is by far my favourite breakfast!

Schools back

Back to school! Yay!!!... NOT 
I hate school T_T and if you have checked out my personal blog, you could see the long post I wrote about how I tried public school but hated it, so now I am back to homeschooling. But I am probably going to do a mix of homeschooling and public school.

The one thing I did like about public school though was gym... We went for a 5km run! And I was in the front of the class with the athletic kids XD I was so happy! But other than gym, I really do not like public sch...

Juicing cleanse and veggies

I have been trying to eat more veggies, because if you read my other posts you would know I have a major sweet tooth (if I wrote that in my other posts...). 
And I read on Sia Coopers blog ( about how she did a week cleanse with juicing, and how it made her skin glow. So I thought "Hey, thats a good idea to juice, then I will be able to get more veggies!" Coffee addiction

As you might know, I am/was a coffee addict. Just a few days ago I was drinking about 3-5 cups a day, and if I went without it for too long I got shaky and bad headaches. Notice how I am using the past tense? Thats because I decided to slow down or quit coffee, I have been relying on it too much for energy and now I am getting all the bad effects of coffee, like the headaches and such. It was 2 days I went without coffee, the first day I had REALLY bad headaches, and felt absolutely terrible....

Raw second week progress, moving..

Well, I believe this is my second week of eating more raw foods! So far it has been really good, the only thing I am struggling with is getting enough protein and less carbs. Fruit is high in carbs and sugar, but they the good ones. So Im not too worried about that. But regards to protein, I am getting more fat than protein. 
I did some research on it, and it seems like I need to get some raw vegan protein powder. It just seems to difficult to get it other wise, and I don't want to lose any mu...

Iced coffee, raw progress

Hey guys!

I recently have made a new. healthy version of iced coffee/frapaccino. Im not exactly sure what to classify it under >_<
Im addicted to coffee, and it is really hot in Canada where I live right now. So I wanted to make a cold version so I could have something nice and cool on a hot summers day.
Here is how I made it:
-1 cup soymilk
-about 1 cup or less of coffee (just black)
-1/2 tbsp (or to taste) of honey

Something I have never really brought up since starting my fitness journey is that, I was a raw vegan for 3 years (sometimes I ate raw fish though! Im in love with Japanese food!)

Work, and my tips!

I have been super busy with work this last week or so. Its really messed up with my eating, and exercise schedule T_T
I've finally got it all planned out! I made all my meals for the day this morning, and calculated the calories and macros. And right after work, I will just do my workout like usual! I may need another shot of coffee, but as long as I get through it Im happy ^ ^

My tips for being prepared for a workday?
  • Plan your meals ahead of time
  • Either work before work, or after work while...
